Grants Awarded in 2008

The Springfield Foundation awards grants from a variety of funds that reflect the charitable interests of its donors and the diverse needs within our community. Grants totaling $2,362,247 were made in 2008 for programs to be implemented in 2009. The Foundation thanks the non-profit organizations for their dedication and the work they do that positively impacts our community.

In addition, the Foundation approved grants recommended by the fund representatives of Donor Advised and Charitable Checking Funds. These grants benefited non-profit organizations throughout the United States.

Agency Endowment Funds Total: $540,110

27 agencies received distributions from their endowment funds that are managed by the Springfield Foundation.
