All approved contributions are tax deductible. The Springfield Foundation will send you a receipt for your records when the gift is received. Cash If you wish to make a cash gift to Springfield Foundation, you may do so by check or wire transfer. Securities For instructions on giving a gift of securities to the Springfield Foundation through wire transfer click here. If you wish to make a gift of restricted (Rule 144), closely-held, or other non-publicly traded securities please contact us at 937.324.8773 to obtain instructions on what additional information is required for this type of stock. Gift by Check The check should be made payable to the Springfield Foundation and the name of the fund to receive the contribution should be written on the memo line. Please mail or deliver by hand to: Springfield Foundation 4 West Main Street, Suite 825 Springfield, Ohio 45502 Gifts by Wire Transfer Large sums may be wire transferred directly to the Foundation's bank account. Please inform us in advance of a planned wire transfer so that we can ensure it is credited to the correct fund and donor. Year-End Gifts To qualify as a tax deduction in a given year, your cash gift must be postmarked or hand-delivered by December 31 of that year. Please consult with your financial institution regarding the delivery time of federal funds wire transfers.
