The Springfield Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations on behalf of our donors.  Each year, we distribute funds from unrestricted and restricted funds in order to meet current needs of Clark County. 

Who Is Eligible?

 To be considered for a discretionary grant, an organization must:

• serve the residents of Clark County,
• be exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
• have paid or volunteer staff, choose a governing board and provide services without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, sex, age or national origin.

2007 Grant Distributions

The Springfield Foundation awards grants from a variety of funds that reflect the charitable interests of its donors and the diverse needs within our community.  Grants totaling $2,071,405 were made in 2007 for programs to be implemented in 2008.  The Foundation thanks the non-profit organizations for their dedication and the work they do that positively impacts our community (Learn More).
