Grant Guidelines and Application
The Springfield Foundation is committed to building a strong community through its grants program. The regular discretionary program awards grants once annually on a competitive basis to a variety of nonprofit organizations that strive to address community problems in Clark County. In most cases, discretionary grants fall in the $5,000-$15,000 range.
Grant applications are no longer being accepted for 2011. Check back in May 2012 for the next funding cycle. For your reference, samples of our 2011 grant materials can be found below.

Who Is Eligible?
To be considered for a discretionary grant, an organization must:
» serve the residents of Clark County,
» be exempt from income taxes as determined by the Internal Revenue Code
» have paid or volunteer staff, choose a governing board and provide services without discrimination on the basis of race, religion, sex, age or national origin.
Grantee Reporting
In order for the Foundation to monitor the status of our grantmaking activities, grantees may be required to submit a Grantee Reporting Form. You may download a fillable-field Word document of the form here.
Out-of-Cycle (Emergency) Grant Requests
Under certain circumstances, and pending available funding, the Foundation is willing to review out-of-cycle, emergency grant proposals. To be considered, organizations must first contact the Foundation's Program Officer to receive information for the submission of a proposal.
