Springfield Foundation Named “2010 Outstanding Foundation”

The Greater Dayton Region Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) has announced their honorees for the 2010 National Philanthropy Day. These prestigious awards honor local foundations, corporations and individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to philanthropic efforts in the greater Dayton area. Among this year’s honorees, The Springfield Foundation has been named the 2010 “Outstanding Foundation” and will be officially recognized at AFP’s National Philanthropy Day celebration luncheon to be held on November 18, 2010.

“This is a tremendous and humbling honor to be recognized by this group of professionals and to be supported by our peers,” said Springfield Foundation Board President, Robyn Koch-Schumaker. “We are proud, and feel privileged, to work with donors and organizations to make Clark County a better community.”
