Scholarship Guidelines and Applications

The Springfield Foundation administers a variety of scholarships to assist Clark County residents in pursuing education beyond high school. Each scholarship targets students with different characteristics; for example, graduation from a particular high school, plans to attend a specific college or selection of a certain field of study.

How to Apply

1. Download and review the appropriate instructions:

» Are you a graduating High School Senior? If yes, click here.

» Are you a full-time College Student? If yes, click here.

» Are you a Non-Traditional (adult or part-time) student? If yes, click here.

2. Download the General Application (Word Document Fillable Form).
Please note, the Springfield Foundation will match your application to the appropriate Funds.

3. Special Applications (Carefully review the following list and only complete applications for which you qualify.)

» If you or a family member is employed by the Springfield, Ohio Police Division
you may be eligible for the Cookie Lady Scholarship. Download the Application here, or pick up a copy at the Police Chief's Office.

» Are you entering a program in the Building Trades?
You may be eligible for the Robert M. Farish Family Building Trades Education Fund.

» Lutherans who are rostered in the Southern Ohio Synod and are pursuing a career in church work
 may qualify for the Roy and Kathryn Hickes Family Scholarship.

» Graduating High School seniors of Urbana High School
may be eligible for the Mary Ellen Shockey Memorial Scholarship.

» Children of members of Knights of Pythias #433 and Harmony Lodge #8
may be eligible for the Nelson and Belva Stallsmith Scholarship.

» Graduating High School seniors of Emmanuel Christian Academy and Kenton Ridge High School
may be eligible for the Hannah Christine Young Memorial Scholarship.

» Springfield Regional School of Nursing Family of Scholarship Funds (Available from the Springfield Regional School of Nursing)
» Martin Family Scholarship (Available from Rotary Club of Springfield; please contact .)
» Jennifer Lou Spencer Memorial Scholarship (Available from Rotary Club of Springfield; please contact .)
» Ralph Doyle Endowed Scholarship (Available from Springfield News-Sun)
» Howard Zeller Scholarship (Available from Tecumseh High School Vo-Ag Department at 937-845-4526)
