Grant Opportunities

Grant Opportunities

Through our competitive grants program, we invest in nonprofits that are working to meet current community needs in the fields of Arts & Culture, Civic Affairs, Education, Environment, Conservation & Animals, Health, and Human Services

We also provide field of interest funding from endowments created by donors directed to a broad area reflecting their personal interests.  All grants are evaluated for their relevance to these areas which include

  • Animal Causes
  •  Arts including preforming arts in the schools
  • Children and Youth
  • Conservation and Preservation
  • Construction Trades (Training and Education)
  • Environmental Activities
  • Education
  • Health
    • Cardiac and Respiratory Ailments (Treatment or Equipment)
    • Cancer Care
    • Prenatal and Postpartum programs
    • Dental
  • Homeless Shelters
  • People with Disabilities
    • Blind and Vision Impaired
    • Deaf and Hard of Hearing
    • Physical Disabilities
    • Developmental Disabilities

Foundation Board members and staff have completed a detailed study of the community, met with many community experts and used the information we gathered to develop goals and objectives for each of our program areas.  These goals and objectives will guide us in our grantmaking work, and nonprofits that are addressing our goals and objectives will be given first consideration as we make our funding decisions. We invite nonprofits to explore the goals and objectives established by the Foundation.
