The Springfield Foundation established the Legacy Society in 2001 to acknowledge and honor individuals who have made a commitment to our community's future by including planned gifts in their estate plans. Over 250 individuals have made their intentions known to leave a lasting charitable legacy for the betterment of Clark County through the Springfield Foundation. Sample Bequest Language
"I/We give and bequeath the sum of ___________ Dollars (or _______% of my/our estate) (or the rest and residue of my/our estate) (or property, of whatever kind and character and wherever situate) to the Springfield Foundation, the community foundation for Clark County, Ohio, to be held as part of its permanent endowment, with the income therefrom to be used for (describe specific charitable purpose)."
